Who is God?
God has made Himself known to us, personally in our own lives, and through the pages of the Bible. The Bible is not just a book about what God wants us to do, it is God making Himself known. Here are some of the most important things that God wants us to know about Himself and His character.

Creator
Genesis 1:1
• God is the Creator, everything else is creation
Jeremiah 18:1-6
• The maker of the pot has the right to make it any way he wants. God, our creator, has every right over us

Holy
Isaiah 6:3-5
• “Holy” means “apart”
• God is apart from and far above everything in His creation

Righteous
Deuteronomy 32:4
• God is completely just and without sin

Loving
1 John 4:7-10
• God is love, and love comes from God

Strong
Psalm 62:11-12
